The health-tourism cluster „Dalmatia“ and cluster manager Biljana Mancic, M.Sc.
actively participated and presented Split’s Dalmatian county on a number of important panels and events that determine the latest trends in health tourism industry.

Split-Dalmatia County is recognized as a high-quality and desirable destination with the tendency of growth of visits of health tourists. Especially during the winter period when high-class accommodation is offered, services of a large number of specialist clinics from almost all areas of medicine, EU standard of excellence.
The Ministry of Health sent a confirmation letter from the recent meeting where the representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds, the State Secretary, Velimir Žunac, Assistant Minister Ana Odak, Head of the Sector for Strategic Management and Coordination of EU Investment Instruments Marija Rajaković, who were present, were introduced with the current possibilities for financing health tourism projects and plans for the programming period 2021-2027, with a reference to the potential “post 2020” sources of funding for investment in health tourism.
